Being able to work on projects that I love and care about has been the greatest gift ever, and that's been a pretty recent thing in my life. But success for me at some point will probably be having a family.

It's like a puzzle, putting together your individual accent and what you grew up with or what you heard. It must be insane to be a dialect coach, to balance all that out.

My favorite thing about movies is the ending and so all my favorite movies have really great endings.

The importance of balance is huge but I think it is for everybody. It's a big issue for at least anyone that I talk to in any career.

I could never be Charlie Chaplin. But the films that were made by people like him, or Gene Wilder, or John Candy, the people that inspired me so much were the people that were able to combine humor with heartbreak so beautifully and fluidly. Those films I think were what inspired me to want to come to L.A. and audition for movies.

When you don't even get to try, you're like in a vacuum.

Sometimes I definitely shut people out. I can be that sort of girlfriend who crosses her arms, shakes her head and says, "Nope, I'm not telling you what's wrong. I'm fine."
