An enlightened teacher simply expresses enlightenment in their life by living. It is the student's job to gain the teachings. The teacher's job is just to be perfectly enlightened.

The samsara is the sense of self. I've had past experiences. I'm aware of the moment. I will have future experiences.

In the West the wise are usually thought of as leaders. In the East, the wise are very often though of as followers.

You can get so caught up in learning all about reincarnation, you can get so caught up in learning about structures, fascinating though they may be, that you're not free; you're just studying a different textbook.

In Zen we strive to bring both the mind and the body into perfect combination, so that there is no intrinsic difference between them.

I would suggest your awareness is your karma. How you feel generates your level of attention.
