I had very good LSD, but the problem was - I tried making a film, or doing some filming, when I was on LSD, and it's impossible. I couldn't focus. I tried focusing, but when I looked through the lens, I'd see all different layers of focus, and I couldn't find which was the real one behind the camera. And I just thought, this does not work, and I never tried that again.

That's why workers in France like horsemeat, because it's like a male thing that makes you strong. Cow meat is a much more female meat.

In life, some people just know that they have the power of their money. They can sign checks, contracts, and things like that. And they think they are bright just because they can sign these things because someone gave them the possibility to have this economic power over you. And they behave as censors.

When you see a movie, it's like you're attending a show of magic in which the magician pulls a rabbit out of a hat. You don't know how he did it, but a part of you is fascinated, or hypnotized, by what happened, another part of your brain says, "Oh, I want to do the same thing! I want to be that wielder of that magic. I want to be that magician on stage, and do the same thing to other people."

Sometimes when I make a movie, my main goal is to show the movie to one particular director.It's not about competing. It's mostly about someone who did something that blew your mind and you want to see if you can render the joy.

In France, it's just.., if you're the son of someone, you can be sure that you will have a good life. Because you're the son of this guy or the daughter of that guy you will be introduced to this person who will give you a job even if you're totally incompetent.

My father is much more into forgetting and forgiving, but I'm much more into revenge.
