When you know for yourselves, 'These things are wholesome; these things are blameless; these things are praised by the wise; these things, if undertaken and practiced, lead to welfare and happiness,' then you should engage in them.

There are these two kinds of gifts: a gift of material things & a gift of the Dhamma. Of the two, this is supreme: a gift of the Dhamma.

The virtuous man delights in this world and he delights in the next

A wise man, recognizing that the world is but an illusion, does not act as if it is real, so he escapes the suffering.

Let them not do the slightest thing that the wise would later reprove.

Don't give way to heedlessness or to intimacy with sensual delight - for a heedful person, absorbed in jhana, attains an abundance of ease.
