Evil-doers who denounce the wise resemble a person who spits against the sky; the spittle will never reach the sky, but comes down on himself. Evil-doers again resemble a man who stirs the dust against the wind; the dust is never raised without doing him injury. Thus, the wise will never be hurt, but the curse is sure to destroy the evil-doers themselves.
Gautama BuddhaIf the traveller can find A virtuous and wise companion Let him go with him joyfully And overcome the dangers of the way. But if you cannot find Friend or master to go with you, Travel on alone.
Gautama BuddhaThe big belly can accommodate all kinds of things. The benevolence is never let a dust behind.
Gautama BuddhaAll beings are not only the parents in the past. They will become the Buddha in the future. If you free their lives, you are Buddha.
Gautama BuddhaWe are the same as plants, as trees, as other people, as the rain that falls. We consist of that which is around us, we are the same as everything.
Gautama BuddhaMind precedes all phenomena, mind matters most, everything is mind-made. If with an impure mind, you speak or act, then suffering follows you as the cartwheel follows the foot of the draft animal. If with a pure mind, you speak or act, then happiness follows you as a shadow that never departs
