There is nothing like lust. Lust may be said to be the most powerful passion. Fortunately, we have but one thing which is more powerful. If the thirst for truth were weaker than passion, how many of us in the world would be able to follow the way of righteous?

The Ill-directed mind can do to you even worse

Which do you think is more my friend, the water in the four great oceans or the tears that you have shed on this long way of taking birth again and again?

To cease from evil, to do good, and to purify the mind yourself, this is the teaching of all the Buddhas.

Watering the flowers and the trees, whispering to them, talking to them. Then, they will grow to be more bright and luxuriant.

The grudge you hold on to is like a hot coal that you intend to throw at someone, only you're the one who gets burned.

The mind that perceives the limitation is the limitation.
