Tremendous happiness and peace of mind are the results of loving service to others. Nobody can live fully and happily who lives only unto himself or herself.

The family is a creation of God. The way to strengthen the nation is to strengthen the homes of the people.

Most of the things that make you angry are of very small consequence. And what a terrible price you are paying for your anger.

Enjoy music. Not the kind that rocks and rolls, but the music of the masters, the music that has lived through the centuries, the music that has lifted people. If you do not have a taste for it, listen to it thoughtfully. If you do not like it the first time, listen to it again and keep listening.

Forget yourself and go to work.

Generally speaking, the most miserable people I know are those who are obsessed with themselves; the happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others...By and large, I have come to see that if we complain about life, it is because we are thinking only of ourselves.

Work at our responsibility as parents as if everything in life counted on it.
