I had always been very rational, but I'd always used reason in such a way as to convince myself that reasoning alone would not solve anything, really. Reasoning is theoretical. Environment is stronger than willpower, and when you are with people who have high ideals, it helps you to grow in your ideals.

It's not insincere to say you're happy if your determined to make it true and live in that consciousness.
