You can call me a lot of things, but you can't call me complacent!

You'll never be happy if you can't figure out that loving people is all there is. And that it's more important to love than be loved. Because that is when you feel love, by loving somebody.

When I was starting out, I would get printouts of what was being written about me that week. At first it was all good things, and then it started to turn. I very quickly learned, "This isn't good, this isn't helping me." But it was a very important exercise for me in terms of really understanding that one's sense of self is internal. I have had an extreme opportunity to learn that lesson, and I think it's been such a blessed fortune.

I started boxing one day a week to experience aggression, which has been really interesting.

I'm looking forward to becoming older and quieter.

I don't eat four-legged animals, but I eat birds, I eat cheese, I eat dessert. I eat everything.

Spain is so different from the United States. It seemed to have a history, and the buildings are years and years and years old. Here in the United States an old building is about 17 (years old), and over there it's from 500 B.C., it's incredible.
