When I was pregnant, I couldn't wear fragrance. I couldn't smell anything. I couldn't smell flowers, I was very sensitive to everything. I could smell orange juice from across the room and I remember thinking, 'I will throw up.'

Women were real box office stars in the '40s, more so than men. People loved to see women's films. I think it was better then, except for the studio system.

If your role is to mentor somebody, what you're essentially doing is taking stock of what you've learned, the mistakes you've made, the successes you've had, and you kind of coalesce them and then you translate them back out.

I'm having so much fun building my makeup business, and it's a huge responsibility. It's not a side job. The more it can run without me, the more I'll be able to go back to acting. For now, I feel fulfilled.
