I believe music is a place everyone of us can go to.

For me, embracing my own power is about embracing my right to be an individual.

It definitely can be really hard being away from friends and family for so long. People expect you to be different when you come back. But I love it, I love coming home. I really want to start coming back here more often ? its so fun.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is, “It’s okay.” It’s okay for me to be kind to myself. It’s okay to be wrong. It’s okay to get mad. It’s ok to be flawed. It’s okay to be happy. It’s okay to move on.

I live around dudes all the time so I've heard millions of stories about how they go through a breakup and then the girl turns absolutely crazy. I always thought growing up like: "No, I won't be like that - when I go through a breakup I'll be cool."

The lyrics were my sarcastic way of realizing you can't be the king of the hill all the time.

I don’t care if the world or anyone in it tries to drag me down. Because I know that in the end, they will be the ones left tired from the struggle to hold me back.
