I want to be the president for all Americans, regardless of your political beliefs, where you come from, what you look like, your religion.

And I really believe that America and all of you are up to that job.

Reconciling with an adversary that can be as brutal as the Taliban sounds distasteful, even unimaginable. And diplomacy would be easy if we only had to talk to our friends. But that is not how one makes peace.

The consciousness-raising, the advocacy, the passion, the youth of your movement is so critical.

You shouldn't have a profit motivation to fill prison cells with young Americans.
