You know, Barack Obama is a man of great dignity. And I could tell how much it bothered him and annoyed him that this [birther lie] was being touted and used against him.

I want a country where citizens like you and your family are just as welcome as anyone else.

Donald [Trump] never tells you what he would do. Would he have started a war? Would he have bombed Iran? If he's going to criticize a deal that has been very successful in giving us access to Iranian facilities that we never had before, then he should tell us what his alternative would be.

Donald Trump has consistently insulted Muslims abroad, Muslims at home, when we need to be cooperating with Muslim nations and with the American Muslim community.

I drink tons of water. Just as much water as I can possibly drink.

Over the years, so many of the barriers that prevented people from getting married, crossing lines of faith or color or ethnicity have just disappeared. Because what's important is: 'Are you making a responsible decision? Have you thought it through? Do you understand the consequences?' And I think in the world that we're in today we need more of that.
