We have a lot of inequality, and I'm not a one-issue candidate, because I don't think this is a one-issue country. So I want to knock down all the barriers that stand in the way of people getting ahead and staying ahead.

We have health insurance companies playing a major role in the provision of healthcare, both to the employed whose employers provide health insurance, and to those who are working but on their own are not able to afford it and their employers either don't provide it, or don't provide it at an affordable price. We are still struggling. We've made a lot of progress. Ten million Americans now have insurance who didn't have it before the Affordable Care Act, and that is a great step forward.

Don't worry about things, that you can do better next time. Don't worry about stuff you can't control.

We currently have a system for taking care of sickness. We do not have a system for enhancing and promoting health.

Drug companies should not be allowed to reap excessive profits or spend unreasonable amounts on marketing if they want to receive support that is designed to encourage life- saving and health-improving treatments.

I care deeply about Democratic party and our agenda and making sure that we can continue to build on President [Barack] Obama`s legacy. So any suggestion that I am doing anything other than manage this primary impartially and neutrally is ludicrous.

I do have investments, investments in new jobs, investments in education, skill training, and the opportunities for people to get ahead and stay ahead. That's the kind of approach that will work.
