You've got to ask yourself, why won't Donald Trump release his tax returns? I think there may be a couple of reasons. First, maybe he's not as rich as he says he is. Second, maybe he's not as charitable as he claims to be. Third, we don't know all of his business dealings, but we have been told through investigative reporting that he owes about $650 million to Wall Street and foreign banks. Or maybe he doesn't want the American people to know that he's paid nothing in federal taxes.

I don't spend my hours plotting for somebody else's downfall.

I want people to feel that I've got their back, that they can count on me, and that the door's open, the table is set for everybody, so that nobody feels like, hey, I'm a lesser person. And it's that place of fear. It does kill dreams. That's exactly what fear does.

We need to believe Donald Trump when he bullies and threatens to throw out every immigrant in the country.

I want to focus on what are called kitchen table issues. You know, the ones that keep you up at night, like the cost of childcare and college and prescription drugs and so much else.

Every call you make, every door you knock, every friend you register to vote could make the difference.

I am calling for common sense gun safety measures to protect people.
