You can't just cry about the pain. You can't just pray about the pain. You must eliminate the pain.

You are always being prepared for something better or protected from something worse.

No whining, no complaining about anyone. Everybody in your life has come to teach you lessons.

Stuff your feelings because feelings buried alive don't die. And that fear or that upset or that anger or that whatever it is, it'll turn into something inside of you. So you want to get it out.

Sometimes you have to lose everything in order to gain yourself.

Listen for the instruction, instead of begging for the direction.

There is nothing you need to do to make yourself more acceptable to God. You don't have to work harder, nor do you need to change the kind of work you do. You don't have to give more money to charitable organizations. The reality is, God doesn't want you to give anyone anything if you only do it to impress God! God does not love you or find you acceptable because of anything that you do. God loves you and accepts you because you are a part of God.
