I had to stop traveling alone because I missed so many planes. When somebody runs up to you in the airport and begins to tell you their life story, you can't say, 'Excuse me, boo,' as they're weeping on your bosom.

Authenticity means that you must do what you do the way you do it and allow everyone else the same courtesy.

Every day is your day if you claim it. If you wait for somebody else to make it for you, you're going to be disappointed.

You've got to have a vision and an intention and that will guide what you do. I call it devotion. Ask yourself, "Is this not moving me toward where we need to be?" I believe that's helpful because a vision pulls you forward and it keeps you focused. A vision for the day, for the week, for the month and a lifelong vision - whatever works for you. And then you govern your activities and your behaviors accordingly.

You are never angry for the reason you think you are. There's an older hurt under that.

Wherever your gift is, that's where it's going to be your greatest challenge.
