We must reject the thought that evangelism is to be separated from the importance of standing against evil. We weren't saved just to escape this world and go to Heaven. Transformed people transform the culture while standing boldly against evil.

We all acknowledge there are some things that need to be torn down and removed, but it seems to me that a leader who removes something must be able to recognize the necessity of replacing it with something that is effective and sustainable - so you don't just tear down, you have to build up.

Love is the greatest force on earth to resist, limit and ultimately halt evil's deadly progression.

If we have understanding, we can oversee the resources God entrusted to our care. And the wiser we are, the more effective we will be as stewards.

I believe in the importance of unity among those who know Christ, who profess to be "Christians." . . . I believe there is an important spiritual awakening beginning in the hearts of those truly committed to Christ in the Protestant and Catholic communities. Is it possible that Pope Francis may prove to be an answer not only to the prayers of Catholics, but also those known as Protestants?

Don't hold on to religion and miss the joy of knowing Jesus.

It is time for pastors, priests and all true believers to come out of the closet and stand for truth against the flood of evil.
