It seems very obvious that a vast majority of the American people are sick and tired of political correctness and prevailing partisanship that does not serve the American people or freedom well.

We all acknowledge there are some things that need to be torn down and removed, but it seems to me that a leader who removes something must be able to recognize the necessity of replacing it with something that is effective and sustainable - so you don't just tear down, you have to build up.

I believe in the importance of unity among those who know Christ, who profess to be "Christians." . . . I believe there is an important spiritual awakening beginning in the hearts of those truly committed to Christ in the Protestant and Catholic communities. Is it possible that Pope Francis may prove to be an answer not only to the prayers of Catholics, but also those known as Protestants?

A new year reminds us that regardless of how often we fail or miss the mark, God freely offers opportunity to begin anew.

We must reject the thought that evangelism is to be separated from the importance of standing against evil. We weren't saved just to escape this world and go to Heaven. Transformed people transform the culture while standing boldly against evil.

The way to bless God is to bless someone He loves. Bless someone in need.

Love is the greatest force on earth to resist, limit and ultimately halt evil's deadly progression.
