What I get on a yoga mat, and from a yoga teacher, has been more beneficial onstage than any other workshop I've ever done.

Last weekend a young man asked me how I remain so positive. “It seems all the negativity in the world doesn’t affect you,” he said. I had no more than a minute with the young man so I offered this: It’s all about where you choose to put your attention, and I choose to be happy.

EVERYTHING is love, so the only thing that's not love is our resistance to love, is us trying to be separate from the world.

Lucky to have been where I have been

I don't follow any of what the pop world is doing. Sometimes I feel like that's a weakness, actually, that I'm too in my own bubble. But I'm really just interested in the inner journey. And pop is all about the exterior world, the material.

A picture can say 1000 words but it can also inspire you to write 1000 more.

I really want to be able to keep going and I realize that in some aspects I've got to treat myself like an athlete.
