I believe that I have the executive experience and the ideas and the proven record to fix things.

Florida has its own rhythm, too. People go to work, they watch their children learn and grow and start families of their own. They play in the sun and pass their lives enjoying the outsized blessings that make our state unique.

America still is an exceptional country. We love to lead and we love to win. And we do it, when we take on any challenge and when we take - we support our friends.

If we're going to ban all Muslims, how are we going to get them to be part of a coalition to destroy ISIS?

We have huge national security issues in this country, and the United States Senate ought to be pushing President [Barack] Obama towards the proper policies that right now are a complete disaster based on his policies.

A strategy would be how do we mobilize support for the remnants of the Syrian Free Army, and it might require combat troops to inspire an international effort.

I'm not an expert on the ways of Washington [but] it makes no sense to me that we're not funding control of our border.
