I love to be alone with life. I love to study simple things: the light as it filters in a window; the music of a room full of people chatting; a horizon.

Optimism is a choice. Cynicism isn't smarter - it's just safer.

I find you get out of people what you put into them.

For now I'm just enjoying being a mom. I don't want to be more famous and more rich. I want to be a good mom.

I say to myself, sometimes the tide is just out. But it always comes back in again.

I've always been a workhorse.
