We're seeing the convergence of a big, corporate party right now. A sort of bipartisan merger under the figure of Hillary Clinton.
Jill SteinThe guy [Donald Trump] has a lot of problems - physical, mental, emotional, cognitive. You know, he comes with a whole lot of baggage, and I think it's pretty obvious.
Jill SteinThis is true to party tyranny and it locks people in, especially outrageous at this time that people feel like they are being thrown under the bus by these two political parties and are demanding, you know, other options in large numbers.
Jill SteinWhy should the Democratic and Republican parties be in charge of the debates, especially at a time when the largest block of voters has repudiated the Democratic and Republican parties? Why are they still in charge?
Jill SteinThe way that you address this right-wing extremism is actually by putting forward a truly progressive agenda. That's the only solution here.
Jill SteinI would never say they look exactly the same, but what I would say is that the differences are not enough to save your job, to save your life, or to save the planet. And what we have right now is a race to the bottom, between the greater and lesser evil. [Donald] Trump is a very dangerous and despicable demagogue. However, you know, policy for policy, Hillary's [Clinton] are also extremely dangerous.
