There is no such thing as a survivable or local nuclear war.

We call for a new kind of offensive in the Middle East because our current approach has a track record and it's not a good one.

Right now we have a $600-billion or so Defense Department budget, but when you add in, for example, a trillion-dollar nuclear weapons program over the next decade or two, it adds significantly to it.
