One of the first things successful people realize is the old adage, “If it is to be, it is up to me.” That is, for you, the fact that your success and your course is up to you. This doesn’t mean that you do it all alone. It simply means that you take responsibility for your life and your career.

Good people are not trained, they are found. If you are training too much, you may not have the right people.

Good people are found not changed. Recently I read a headline that said, 'We don't teach people to be nice. We simply hire nice people.' Wow! What a clever short cut.

Poor people have big TV's. Rich people have big libraries.

Emotions will either serve or master, depending on who is in charge.

Average people look for ways of getting away with it; successful people look for ways of getting on with it.

Life expects us to make a reasonable amount of progress in a reasonable amount of time. That's why they make those second grade chairs so small.
