There is an ancient script that says, 'He that wishes to be ignorant, let him be ignorant.' But I took off the last word and it now reads for me like this: He that wishes to be ignorant, let him be!

It seems that every life form on this planet strives toward its maximum potential... except human beings. A tree does not grow to half its potential size and then say, "l guess that will do." A tree will drive its roots as deep as possible. It will soak up as much nourishment as it can, stretch as high and as wide as nature will allow, and then look down as if to remind us of how much each of us could become if we would only do all that we can.

Some teachers teach for others to learn. That's not me. Some teachers teach for others to accomplish. That is me.

Life operates by deserve. So, in leading people, learn to work with the people who deserve it, not the people who need it.

Don't spend most of your time on the voices that don't count, voices that are going to add too little worth to your future. Don't waste time on the shallow and the silly. Tune those voices out and tune in voices that are going to add something to your life

Always be willing to look at both sides of the argument. Understanding the other side is the best way to strengthen your own.

Now is the time to fix the next 10 years.
