The stock market goes nuts over any company that so much as mentions the word Internet. All this proves to me is that the boneheads on Wall Street are as dumb as they were in college when they had to switch their majors to business to keep from flunking out.

When I hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete, I see that the System Idle Process is hogging all the resources and chewing up 95 percent of the processor's cycles. Doing what? Doing nothing?

Apple should pull the plug on the iPhone... What Apple risks here is its reputation as a hot company that can do no wrong. If it's smart it will call the iPhone a 'reference design' and pass it to some suckers to build with someone else's marketing budget. Then it can wash its hands of any marketplace failures... Otherwise I'd advise people to cover their eyes. You are not going to like what you'll see.

IBM uses what I like to call the 'hole-in-the-ground technique' to destroy the competition..... IBM digs a big HOLE in the ground and covers it with leaves. It then puts a big POT OF GOLD nearby. Then it gives the call, 'Hey, look at all this gold, get over here fast.' As soon as the competitor approaches the pot, he falls into the pit

The Apple iPad is not going to be the company's next runaway best seller. Not if the industry can help it... With the iPad, Apple may have irked it's somewhat new partner Intel Corp. Intel gets spanked by nobody.

Within the decade, Microsoft should have a minimum of 300 stores. They should do as well as the Apple Stores... [Microsoft] is going to experiment with holiday pop-up shops this year in various cities. I predict they will be hugely successful.

Make a faster machine and people will flock to inefficient software.
