If you invest in people by helping individuals improve themselves, showing them the way to their “right place”, they will never be the same again. And neither will you. It is impossible to help others without helping yourself.

Diligent follow-up and follow-through will set you apart from the crowd and communicate excellence.

Seek advice, but make sure it's from someone who has successfully handled mistakes or adversities.

Growth demands a temporary surrender of security. It may mean giving up familiar but limiting patterns, safe but unrewarding work, values no longer believed in, and relationships that have lost their meaning.

If you show people how much you care and ask questions in a non threatening way, you'll be amazed by how much they'll tell you.

Practice the 101 Percent Principle. Whenever possible, find the 1 percent you do agree on in a difficult situation, and give it 100 percent of your effort.
