It's lonely at the top, so you better know why you are there.

It is hard to feel bad about yourself when you are doing something good for someone else. There are a lot of ways to lift your self-esteem, but making a positive difference in another's life has got to be my best leadership guidance. Serving others and working to add value to them will lift your spirits in a way that nothing else will. Trust me on this one.

My potential is what God gives me - that's His gift to me - what I give back to Him is what I do with that potential.

We are to get wisdom and understanding, yet we are not to lean on it apart from the Lord.

If you think you are beaten, you are. If you think you dare not, you don't. If you'd like to win but think you can't it's almost certain you won't. Life's battles don't always go to the stronger or faster man, but sooner or later, the man who wins is the man who thinks he can. A happy person is not a person with a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes. I may not be able to change the world I see around me, but I can change the way I see the world within me.

Be willing to absorb some risk and failures to allow people freedom to express themselves.
