Ultimately what I like about reading together is that we all make it happen together. Of course even amid shared experience weโre still aloneโฆ each reading of each book is unique. But what a comfort it is to share readings and experiences. How lucky we are when we get to be alone together.

And the second moral of the story, if a story can have multiple morals, is that Dumpers are not inherently worse than Dumpees - breaking up isn't something that gets done to you; it's something that happens with you.

Make gifts for people - and work hard on making those gifts in the hope that those people will notice and like the gifts.
