Christ died that we might live. This is the opposite of abortion. Abortion kills that someone might live differently.

Sometimes people stumble over this vastness in relation to the apparent insignificance of man. It does seem to make us infinitesimally small. But the meaning of this magnitude is not mainly about us. It’s about God… The reason for ‘wasting’ so much space on a universe to house a speck of humanity is to make a point about our maker, not us.

It is unbiblical and arrogant to try to worship God for any other reason than the pleasure to be had in Him.

Every criticism or slight against you, warranted or not, received or endured humbly, is written in heaven for your reward.

Don't coast through life without a passion.

I see no thread running through my work; I simply get on with my life and my painting.
