You can't make yourself saved. This is very threatening to people, even Christians, because of what it seems to say about freedom.

God aims to look valuable in the world, and that happens when we treasure him above all else.

Whether sexual orientation can change or not, hearts can change and turn any sexual orientation into an occasion for the glory of Christ. Those with same-sex attraction glorify Christ through sexual abstinence and through the enrichment of significant Christ-exalting relationships in other ways.

All of history is moving toward one great goal, the white-hot worship of God and His Son among all the peoples of the earth. Missions is not that goal. It is the means. And for that reason it is the second greatest human activity in the world.

Too many Christians are fighting graduate school sins with a grammar school knowledge of God.

God wills to be displayed and known and loved and cherished and worshiped.

Christianity is fundamentally convalescence.. .God is not only the doctor who prescribes, He is the nurse who lifts up our powerless head and puts the spoon in our mouth...And He is the medicine.
