I do not appeal to you to screw up your courage and sacrifice for Christ. I appeal to you to renounce all you have to obtain life that satisfies your deepest longings.

The answer, The answer, my friend, is not yours to invent or create. It will be decided for you. It is outside you. It is real and objective and firm. One day you will hear it. You don’t create it. You don’t define it. It comes to you, and sooner or later you conform to it—or bow to it.

What was once foolishness to us-a crucified God-must become our wisdom and our power and our only boast in this world.

The goal of Bethlehem College and Seminary cannot be expressed with man as the end point. Christ is the endpoint.
