It's amazing how many introverts go into the ministry. It's amazing how many people go into the ministry who don't really like to be with people.

Don't wait for a feeling or love in order to share Christ with a stranger. You already love your heavenly Father, and you know that this stranger is created by Him, but separated from Him... so take those first steps in evangelism because you love God. It is not primarily out of compassion for humanity that we share our faith or pray for the lost; it is first of all, love for God.

Whenever your heart starts to be anxious about the future, preach to your heart and say, 'Heart, who do you think you are to be afraid of the future and nullify the promise of God? No, heart, I will not exalt myself with anxiety. I will humble myself in peace and joy as I trust this precious and great promise of God - He cares for me.'

May we catch enough of a vision of Christ that we will not be satisfied unless we know him more fully.

I do not elevate the time or mode of baptism to a primary doctrine.

Spiritual leadership is knowing where God wants people to be and taking the initiative to get them there by God's means in reliance on God's power.

God's greatest interest is to glorify the wealth of His grace by making sinners happy in Him.
