You can't win 'til you're not afraid to lose

I'm not a clotheshorse or a big shoes guy.

It's all the same, only the names will change, everyday it seems we're wasting away. Another place, where the faces are so cold, I'd drive all night just to get back home.

It's a little hard for me to stand behind the walls of the great mansion and play rock and roll star. I feel the need to give back.

I'm not a big disco guy. Some of that English techno-poppy stuff wouldn't get me in the mood either.

Do you really want to know why I'm doing all this goodwill, and why I'm an ambassador for Habitat for Humanity and why I gave a million to [relief efforts for Hurricane] Katrina? It's because I feel guilty about the huge hole in the ozone layer my haircuts created. It's my responsibility to right the wrongs of the Eighties.
