I believe that, your art is like a time capsule for where you were at, where your mentality was at, at that specific or that particular space in time. A lot of times people want the same thing over and over again; I'm not going to give you that, I'm just not. So, I want my fans to continue to grow with me and let's take this journey, because it ain't gon' never stop.

My earliest influences would definitely be my father, just seeing him play in different bands and going to his shows and going to the rehearsals. You know what I'm saying, it was the typical story of a son looking up to his dad. So the years that my father was around, my father was my biggest influence.

Hiphop allows you to get your love ones, your family members up out of the hood and that sh-t sounds cliché, but it's true. So when I think of hiphop, I just think of all the opportunity it's provided, of all the places it's taking me.
