Every religion, every mythology is true in this sense: It is true as metaphorical of the human and cosmic mystery.

Every people is a chosen people in its own mind. And it is rather amusing that their name for themselves usually means mankind.

It is within you that the divine lives.

Those who think they know how the universe could have been had they created it, without pain, without sorrow, without time, without death, are unfit for illumination.

All men are capable of reason. That is the fundamental principle of democracy Because everybody's mind is capable of true knowledge, you don't have to have a special authority, or a special revelation telling you that this is the way things should be.
