I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. We may continue to expect the enjoyment of all the blessings of civil and religious liberty, guaranteed by the Constitution. The citizens of Illinois have done themselves honor, in throwing the mantle of the Constitution over a persecuted and afflicted people.
