When a man has a problem very thoroughly and can't solve it, he really has too few problems. He needs more.

Currently, popularity endorses degraded novels, self-abnegation has filled the Southeast Asian jungles with stone idols and corpses, and democracy has given us inflation and income tax.

Works of art are viewed by people. They are heard by people. They are felt by people. They are not just the fodder of a close-knit group of initiates. They are the soul food of all people.

The handling of a problem seems to be simply the increase of ability to confront the problem and when the problem can be totally confronted it no longer exists.
