Without law or compulsion, men would dwell in harmony.
Though tightly the net of words forms, how surely truth slips out.
Treat those who are good with goodness, and also treat those who are not good with goodness. Thus goodness is attained. Be honest to those who are honest, and be also honest to those who are not honest. Thus honesty is attained.
Returning to the source is serenity.
A good door needs no lock, still it can't be opened.
The sage knows without traveling, perceives without looking, completes without acting.
