From now back to antiquity, its (Tao's) name has not been lost. Thereby, see the origin of all.

Yield and overcome; Bend and be straight; Empty and be full; Wear out and be new; Have little and gain; Have much and be confused. ...The ancients say, "Yield and overcome." Is that an empty saying? Be really whole, And all things will come to you.

Wise men hear and see as little children do.

The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being.

Does one scent appeal more than another? Do you prefer this flavor, or that feeling? Is your practice sacred and your work profane? Then your mind is separated: from itself, from oneness, from the Tao.

If I have just an ounce of sense, I follow the great Way, and fear only to stray from it.

The Tao principle is what happens of itself.
