Act without striving. Work without interfering. Find the flavour in what is flavourless.

Surrender your self-interest. Love others as much as you love yourself. Then you can be entrusted with all things under heaven.

Superior leaders get things done with very little motion. They impart instruction not through many words, but through a few deeds. They keep informed about everything but interfere hardly at all. They are catalysts, and though things would not get done as well if they were not there, when they succeed they take no credit. And, because they take no credit, credit never leaves them.

Stretch the bow to the very full, and you will wish you had stopped in time.

He who knows, knows not. He who knows not, knows.

The virtuous carry out the settlement, but those without virtue pursue their claims.
