When I'm pushed outside of my comfort zone, I feel vulnerable. That's also one of the reasons I like being pushed out of my comfort zone, because it makes you grow as a person.

I know that when you take care of yourself and are happy and healthy, you are better for those around you and your environment.

The first acting I ever did was an Italian commercial. Once I did that, I said, 'this acting thing is awesome.'

So, I went to Germany and ended up parasailing around this castle. I was in Germany sightseeing, eating Bratwurst and hanging out in beer gardens. And then, I got back from Germany and got a call where they were like, "We need to fly you to New York tomorrow to read with Taylor [Schilling]." I was like, "Wait, for Alex, the manipulative drug-smuggling lesbian girl?!," and they were like, "Yeah."

It was really cool because you can tell that she directs in a way that she wants to be spoken to, as an actress. That's really nice, and you appreciate that. Dealing with the actors was more important to her than anything else, which was really nice.

My fitness routine includes things that are not stressful on my body - swimming, yoga, stretching, and rebounding.

I'm the type of person that will do triple sessions in one day. I'll do Pilates, I'll do spinning, and then I'll go to the gym and do weights - which is insane.
