You're learning things. As you get older, you're experiencing them. You learn about what it means to be sacrificial. Then, you get married or something like that and you think, "Oh, wow! This is the real deal."

I would say you've got to find your identity in God - in God alone - because everything else is a false sense of identity. He's the one who made you, he's your designer and your work and your value is found in him and not in anything or anyone else.

Some of us are more concerned with our reputation than our character. The latter takes care of the former.
