I can't even think of the words of what I'm feeling. This man [Prince] was my everything, we had a family. I am beyond deeply saddened and devastated.

I think the biggest reason I was able to express myself and not be intimidated was by not having a mother. For example, mothers teach you manners. And I absolutely did not learn any of those rules and regulations.

I’m a role model for those who dare to be different. For those who dare to take a stand in their life and have an opinion

What else is there for me to conquer? Hopefully my ego.

I hope I will always have the ability to create art and live in a world where I can speak freely, and I can inspire people. I don't know what form that will take.

Oh sure, I have lots of fears. My job is to conquer my fears. The irony of being a performer is that I have huge insecurities. Each of us is responsible for what happens in our lives. When good things happen, we take ownership, but when bad things happen we often don't take responsibility. There are no mistakes or accidents. Consciousness is everything and all things begin with a thought. We are responsible for our own fate. We reap what we sow, we get what we give and we pull in what we put out.

People think that being famous is just about having your picture taken all the time and being rich rich rich, and you know what?... They're absolutely right.
