American Dream Is Under Assault. People that haven't been able to find a job in months and this growing sense in this country that this is the new normal, well we can't accept that.

My hope is that the Pope Francis visit to Cuba will remind all the Cuban citizens that they possess dignity and fundamental rights that come from God and that the Castro regime has no claim on changing what is 100% God-given.

I'm very realistic about the challenges we face. OK? I have seen it up close in 2010. It's why I ran for the Senate five years ago. I have only been there five years, but it's been enough time to know the damage Barack Obama has done to this country.

Let's be clear about what this [presidential] campaign is about. It's not about Donald Trump, he's an entertaining guys, he's the greatest show on Earth.

The FBI doesn't sit around all day and read tweets. The FBI's going to do their job. Robert Mueller's going to do his job.

Every single day, something comes out of the [Ted] Cruz campaign that's deceptive and untrue, and in this case, goes after my faith. This is a pattern now, and I think we're now at a point where we start asking about accountability.

I don't really like labels in politics, but I will gladly accept the label of conservatism.
