I search after truth, by which man never yet was harmed.

All things change, and you yourself are constantly wasting away. So also is the universe.

Be content to seem what you really are.

Take away the complaint, 'I have been harmed,' and the harm is taken away.

The healthy eye ought to see all visible things and not to say, I wish for green things; for this is the condition of a diseased eye.
