Instead of praying: 'Dear God, bring me someone fabulous,' try: 'Dear God, make me into someone fabulous.'

Do not fear. Look beyond what's dying to what's being born.

What's difficult in life is to stay centered when somebody does or says something that tempts us to close our hearts because their heart was closed. That is hard. But that is also how we grow. We go through those circumstances in order to evolve into people who can hold to our loving center no matter what the world throws us.

Hope is born of participation in hopeful solutions.

Only write from your own passion, your own truth. That's the only thing you really know about, and anything else leads you away from the pulse.

Speak from your mind and people will hear you with their mind. Speak from your heart and people will hear you with their heart.

Just as you wouldn't leave the house without taking a shower, you shouldn't start the day without at least 10 minutes of sacred practice: prayer, meditation, inspirational reading.
