When you look at obesity in the United States, clearly it is not a bunch of stupid people. It has nothing to do with intelligence. Sometimes people who are dealing with issues of obesity and compulsive eating know more than I will ever know about nutrition, metabolism, and exercise, because they have studied it. But clearly the real problem, and therefore the real solution, is on another level of consciousness, and that is where the spiritual work comes in.

I had an experience that probably is shared by many parents. When my daughter was born, I felt viscerally connected to generations before and after me in a way that took me by surprise.

Every problem emerges from the false belief we are separate from one another, and every answer emerges from the realization we are not.

There is no greater gift to future generations than that we do the work God has asked us to do: love one another, that the world might be made right.

Every time we open our hearts, we create the space for a global alternative.

Experience is necessary for us to grow.

In the area of work and money, we have one of the most intense gaps between fear-based and love-based thought. It's not that a miracle mindset applies to work and money any more than it applies to anything else; rather, it applies there no less than anywhere else.
