Mr. Huston (directed Marilyn in Asphalt Jungle and The Misfits) was an exciting looking man. He was tall, long-faced, and his hair was mussed. He interrupted everybody with outbursts of laughter as if he were drunk. But he wasnโt drunk. He was just happy for some mysterious reason, and he was also a genius โ the first I had ever met
MarilynI think that sexuality is only attractive when itโs natural and spontaneous. This is where a lot of them miss the boat. And then something Iโd just like to spout off on. We are all born sexual creatures, thank God, but itโs a pity so many people despise and crush this natural gift. Art, real art, comes from it, everything.
MarilynI was never used to being happy, so that wasn't something I ever took for granted. I did sort of think, you know, marriage did that. You see, I was brought up differently from the average American child because the average child is brought up expecting to be happy - that's it, successful, happy, and on time.
